I am absolutely thrilled to finally share with you the gorgeous styled bridal shoot with Mrs. Hannah McIntosh. I love the vintage, elegant feel of these bridals as well as the richness of being deep in the woods. Hannah is so beautiful and fun and I loved getting to work with her. Hannah is the owner of My Blissful Bouquets, a wedding decor/floral design shop featuring faux florals. I love the idea that these gorgeous bouquets will last a lifetime and will be just as vivid and beautiful as the day they were created. We used a mix of real and faux succulents for the table and it really cut down on cost! Brides on a budget, this is a great idea for you!
One thing Im head over heels in love with about this gorgeous session is the vintage decor used for the tablescape. Almost everything is an heirloom brought by Hannah and it all came together perfectly. She has pieces here that have some really rich history. Read on to find out more!
“For this elegant styled shoot, we chose to use genuine, European antiques that are special to me and my family. My great grandmother, Dot was a military court reporter stationed in Germany during World War II. She found the delicate wooden table and chairs during her time in Germany, which she then brought back to the United States, along with countless other treasures. The needlework seen on the seat of the wooden heart shaped chair was hand-done by Dot and her sisters after the war. Along with the stunning furniture, my great grandmother found the priceless china, genuine silverware and lace tablecloth while in Germany. When decorating for your wedding, incorporating family heirlooms adds to the sentimentality on your big day!” – Hannah of My Blissful Bouquets
